Superfox (Chesterfield)

You will never hear a tighter sound   Band members Eddie Glossop (Lead vocals/Rhythm guitar)James Glossop (Lead guitar/backing vocals)Ryan Fletcher aka Fletch (Bass guitar/backing vocals)Harry Soar (Drums and percussion)   SUPERFOX are a rock band from the UK, in the suburbs of Sheffield, who deliver high-octane, LIVE, energetic rock shows- incorporated with an incredible passion for melody, a bedrock of good groove, a“keen ear for a pop hook”., and an insistence on perfection. Throughout the past 3 years, SUPERFOX have been honing their craft, constantly bettering themselves musically- going from strength to strength- trying to write “that song”. Some say they have… Their debut EP, “When I’m Dead”, containing “anthemic choruses”, “flawless guitar lines,”, and “pitch-perfect harmonies”, went straight in at number 1 in the midland music stores, and quickly grabbed the interest of HMV and other major stores, not to mention several labels and management companies. The EP continued to be the number 1 seller for four consecutive weeks, signalling a growing regional fanbase. The EP is now available FREE (that’s right, FREE) at all gigs.- (links below). Because of their talent, professionalism and energetic live shows, they have managed to land some major gigs over the past two years, which were taken very much in their own stride. A show supporting Bon Jovi was landed by putting in the best live performance in the UK final, after their demo put them through the heats. The band supported Sheffield’s’ own “Little Man Tate”, after receiving the highest numbers of votes, after making the final four bands. Live acoustic slots and airplay on various radio shows such as Hallam FM, Peak FM, and High Peak radio, have been achieved because of the bands immense flexibility- being able to create touching and melodic acoustic sets. Shows in Camden, Stoke, Nottingham, Sheffield, Manchester and Birmingham but to name a few have strengthened the band as a unit- musically and personally, enabling them to gell even further, not to mention the increase of their fan base. Now, 3 years on, the band are as strong as ever, writing new music for you guys to rock out to- stuff with new elements, taking on board more and more influences- crystallizing their sound- creating the sound that will define "pop rock" in future years. The band are now looking to record new tracks ready to release in the new year.-Previews will be played at gigs, so get down to some! Exciting plans ahead, that’s all that will be said for the moment. Keep your eyes peeled !
